The kind of Yoga I teach?

My yoga journey has been one of healing – when I began practising in 2014 I was grieving and had lost all connection with my body. I thought yoga would be a good way to exercise, and although I definitely got stronger and more mobile from it, what yoga really gave me was a space to grieve and a way to reconnect with myself.
I signed up for my first teacher training in 2019 with no intention of becoming a teacher, but simply to deepen my practice and continue this self work. It was only after teaching my first practice class as part of the training that I realised I couldn't imagine not ever doing that again. I was hooked. It is such a huge privilege to guide yoga practices, and one that brings me so much joy. I hope to be doing it for a very long time.

I offer modifications and variations to make my classes both accessible and challenging. I encourage practitioners to trust their own body… to back off if they need to, to play with their edge if they feel it safe to do so. I create a safe and welcoming space where you can come to just be – no expectations, no egos, just mindful movement to breath with time to pause and relax.

"'Chloe’s classes are really welcoming and accessible. She always provides plenty of variations to suit different levels and needs and always encourages you to listen to your body, take it slow and not push too hard, which is really refreshing. I’ve never felt under pressure to create the perfect shape or embarrassed when I can’t quite get it right. A few months in and I’ve definitely noticed progress and feel stronger!'"

"‘I’m loving coming to your Thursday lunchtime class! The moves and stretches seem really restorative after a morning’s work at the kitchen table, and I’ve noticed a big improvement in my posture and flexibility. The savasana is a particularly welcome ‘screen break’! It’s like pressing the reset button ready for the afternoon."
