About Emma

Emma comes froma background in contemporary dance and has always been drawn to movement. She is now a devoted Anusara Yoga teacher. She trained with inspiring teacher Bridget Woods Kramer, at Triyoga in London. Emma discovered Anusara Yoga whilst attending a workshop with Bridget Woods Kramer, and fell in love with this beautiful and transformative style of Yoga. Anusara is a heart-centred practice that asks us to soften down and open up to our innate well-being and peace. There is an essence inside us all that is unmoving and ever-present. A peace that is quiet and deep, but also expansive and dynamic. Through the practise of Anusara Yoga we explore and tap into this simple divinity that goes beyond all imagination. Every class we move through a slow yet dynamic breathe-led flow to create space on the body-mind, mobilise joints and build strength. Emma’s classes are open to all abilities. Expect music, creative movement and a chance to unwind and flow . Emma believes Yoga is a opportunity to move and remember this simple yet profound peace at the core of our true nature.

Anusara means to "flow with grace" We begin by inviting a sense of ease and effortlessness. We will not insist on anything, rather turn towards our true, peaceful nature. The essence of who we are already that is innately well, whole and full of grace. We will then move through a slow yet dynamic breathe-led flow to create space in the body-mind, mobilise the joints and build strength. This class is an opening to step into the current of grace that is already here. Remember love so that we may pour back into our busy, beautiful lives. ~ grace is the.... love-intelligence that flows as the cosmos ~ Sally Kempton
